About Us
North O’ Nashville was founded in the year 2020 by three friends with a love for country music and a passion to perform it live in an area with virtually no country bands, exposure, or representation – New Jersey and the New York Metro area. Realizing there was a void that needed to be filled, their ultimate goal was to put together a kick-ass band that brought to life the best country music, from classics up through the current hits and everything in between, to everyone out there who yearns to hear great live country music above the Mason-Dixon Line (and everywhere south as well!). As veteran pro musicians, having performed in many bands together in the past – from the popular touring Tom Petty tribute band, Full Moon Fever, to the indie singer-songwriter original music of band member Joe Colledge – this country acoustic trio brings to you a fun, upbeat, unique, and at times heartfelt show and party to beach bars, pubs, backyard BBQs, fairs and festivals, weddings, wineries, country clubs, and every other venue where country music is accepted, appreciated, and allowed to be heard - loud and proud! Meet the Band
Joe Colledge – Guitar/Vocals
Joe Colledge is a lifelong musician and singer-songwriter, learning guitar at the age of ten and writing his own music ever since. Before co-founding North O’ Nashville, he fronted the well-known Tom Petty tribute band, Full Moon Fever, touring throughout the East Coast in America’s top venues including B.B. King’s, the Chance Theatre, and the Hard Rock Cafe. Prior to that, Joe had a successful career as an original indie artist, producing three albums and two singles (including his country hit, I Only Get Drunk On Beer), receiving significant FM and podcast airplay, and having his music featured on several popular TV shows such as American Idol and America’s Got Talent. After having a hand in every genre of music over the years in one way or another - from hair bands in high school to rock cover bands; solo or acoustic duos; a popular original artist career; a touring Tom Petty tribute band - Joe now loves his current home in North O’ Nashville playing and performing the country songs he knows and loves so well alongside his longtime bandmates and buddies, Jon and Brian.
Jon Wohlgemuth – Keyboards/Vocals
Jon has been playing piano from a young age and, after a long break to pursue a career on Wall Street, he eventually met Joe Colledge and joined his original band in the early 2000’s as his keyboardist and most valued bandmate. While assisting Joe with his songwriting, recording, and amazing harmonies and natural talent on the board, together they performed in many of the Northeast’s best original music venues for most of the decade. Eventually, their musical partnership led to other successful ventures, including Jon as keyboardist for Full Moon Fever and playing in some of America’s top concert halls, theatres, and major rock clubs over the subsequent years. Jon now finds his happy place as the keyboardist of North O’ Nashville, with his smooth lead vocals, perfect harmonies, and many different instrument sounds – from piano to strings to organ to horns – as he rounds out and completes the trifecta of North O’ Nashville’s signature sound.
Brian Keane – Drums/Vocals
Brian first met Joe and Jon when he joined the Tom Petty tribute band, Full Moon Fever. He credits this band with exposing him to some amazing venues and two great musicians and now friends. As the drummer and vocalist for North O’ Nashville, Brian lays down the groove, driving the tunes while also adding some percussion and vocals along the way. Brian’s love for country music began many years ago after seeing a Toby Keith concert and after that, he was hooked – Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown, Luke Combs, the Chief, etc. What attracts him to country music is its message – lyrics about country, family, honesty, and the sharing of experiences that everyone can relate to. Being a member of North O’ Nashville gives Brian an opportunity to share his love for country music with fans of all ages. There is something for everyone at a North O’ Nashville show!
